Brand check
Is Branch Basics organic?
We list 3 Branch Basics products. Between them they carry MADE SAFE and EWG Verified, each confirmed on the brand's own page or the certifier's records. A seal belongs to a product, not a brand, so check the one you buy.
We have not tested these products. Each one was checked against the brand’s own page and the certifier’s records. Product links may be affiliate links: if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. How we choose.

1Branch BasicsOne concentrate, many bottlesHome Essentials Kit
One bottle of The Concentrate that you dilute into all-purpose, bathroom, glass and foaming wash bottles using fill lines on each label, plus a laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets. The MADE SAFE index lists The Concentrate as MADE SAFE Certified in all sizes.
Good to know: MADE SAFE is confirmed for The Concentrate only. We did not find the kit's laundry detergent or dishwasher tablets in the MADE SAFE index. The spray bottles are plastic. The brand says its products are not disinfectants.

The MADE SAFE index lists Oxygen Boost under stain treatments, and Branch Basics states on its kit page that Oxygen Boost is its one EWG Verified product.
Good to know: Not organic. The brand says the formula is biodegradable but the pouch is not, and that it is not a disinfectant or sanitizer.

3Branch BasicsNamed US farm sourceWool Dryer Balls
A pack of three balls the brand describes as 100 percent wool, handmade in the United States, free of fragrance and dye, and sourced from Stoney Mountain Farm in North Carolina. Branch Basics says the wool comes from sheep that live on an organic farm.
Good to know: Carries no organic certification. The page names no certifier for the farm or the wool, so "organic farm" is the brand's own description. Listed for the named source and the undyed, unscented material.

Questions people ask
Is everything Branch Basics sells certified organic?
Not necessarily, and we do not claim it. Certification applies to individual products. We checked 3 Branch Basics products for this site, and 2 of them carry at least one of the certifications listed here. For anything else the brand sells, look for the seal and the certifier's name on that product's label.
How can I check a Branch Basics certification myself?
Each product below lists the pages we checked it against. For USDA Organic, search the USDA Organic Integrity Database for the company name. For GOTS, the GOTS public database lists licensed companies. Other seals are explained, with their lookup tools, on our labels pages.
