    A cook-at-home meal kit. The CCOF directory lists Green Chef Corporation as certified for handling under the USDA National Organic Program, with 'meal kit ingredient' as its product. Green Chef's site calls itself the first CCOF-certified organic meal kit company.

    Good to know: The certification covers the company as a handler, not every ingredient. Its own FAQ says it sends organic produce, 'responsibly sourced' proteins and 'sustainably sourced' seafood, and names non-GMO tofu. Sold by subscription.

    A weekly meal kit with pre-measured ingredients and recipes across several meal plans. Green Chef describes itself as the first CCOF-certified organic meal kit company and says its kits come with certified organic produce. Its home page says you can pause or cancel anytime.

    Good to know: The organic statements name produce and proteins. They do not say every ingredient in every kit is organic, so read the ingredient labels in the box. It renews weekly until you pause or cancel.
