Brand check
Is Evanger's organic?
We list 2 Evanger's products. Between them they carry USDA Organic, each confirmed on the brand's own page or the certifier's records. A seal belongs to a product, not a brand, so check the one you buy.
We have not tested these products. Each one was checked against the brand’s own page and the certifier’s records. Product links may be affiliate links: if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. How we choose.

1Evanger'sCanned food, chicken and broth baseOrganic Braised Chicken Dinner for Cats
A canned cat food the product page calls a USDA Organic recipe. The ingredient list begins with organic chicken, organic chicken broth and organic chicken liver, followed by organic guar gum and added taurine, vitamins and minerals.
Good to know: Described as USDA Organic as a whole, with no certifier named. The page says it is balanced for all life stages but does not print an AAFCO nutritional adequacy statement, so read the can before relying on it as a sole diet.

2Evanger'sCanned loaf, short ingredient listOrganic Turkey with Potato & Carrots Dinner for Dogs
A canned food the product page calls a USDA Organic meal for everyday feeding. The ingredient list starts with organic turkey, water, organic potatoes, organic carrots and organic egg, and the page describes the recipe as AAFCO-formulated for all life stages.
Good to know: Described as USDA Organic as a whole. The page paraphrases the AAFCO claim instead of printing the full statement, and names no certifier, so read the can. Grain-free, with potatoes high in the ingredient list.

Questions people ask
Is everything Evanger's sells certified organic?
Not necessarily, and we do not claim it. Certification applies to individual products. We checked 2 Evanger's products for this site, and 2 of them carry at least one of the certifications listed here. For anything else the brand sells, look for the seal and the certifier's name on that product's label.
How can I check a Evanger's certification myself?
Each product below lists the pages we checked it against. For USDA Organic, search the USDA Organic Integrity Database for the company name. For GOTS, the GOTS public database lists licensed companies. Other seals are explained, with their lookup tools, on our labels pages.
